On 5th October 2023 , Hon. John Mulimba, Minister of Foreign affairs in charge of Regional affairs arrived in Juba, South Sudan a upon an invitation of the Hon. Minister of Foreign affairs of South Sudan. He was received by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. The two Ministers held a meeting to Discuss on Bilateral issues and mutual interest of both Friendly countries. During the Meeting , the Ministers agreed that the Establishment Mechanism of MOUs signed between two countries to be revived. The Cross- Boarder issue was discussed and agreed on Framework to be designed to ensure the borders are peaceful. Agreed on Reviving and reactivating mechanism of the JPC’s established in 2012 to be resolve issues concerning between the two brotherly countries. He later on held side slide meetings with the Minister of Trade and Cooperation of South Sudan
