On the side lines of the NAM Meeting GenJejeOdongo met H.E. Ali Elsadig Ali, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of The Sudan. The two discussed the current situation in The Sudan.

On the margins of the NAM Ministerial Meeting, Gen Jeje Odongo and his Azerbaijan counterpart H.E Mr. Jeyhun Baysmov signed an MoU on Political and Diplomatic Consultations between the two countries. They exchanged views on bilateral relations and other areas of mutual interest.

Gen JeJe Odongo, Minister of Foreign Affairs Uganda addressed the first High-Level Conference of the Forum on Global Action for Shared Development taking place in Beijing. He was received by Mr. Luo Zhaohui, Chairman of China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA).

H. E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni welcomed and held discussions with H.E Malik Agar Eyre Ngamyoufa, the Vice Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of the Republic of Sudan. During their discussion, H.E Agar gave the President a comprehensive overview of the current security situation in Sudan, highlighting the need for continued efforts to bring stability to the region.

Honorable Gen. Odongo Jeje Abubakhar, Minister of Foreign Affairs, this morning officially received copies of letters of Credence from the new Ambassador Designate of France to Uganda, H.E Xavier Sticker at the Ministry Headquarters.
