SENEGALESE AMBASSADOR PRESENTS COPIES OF HIS CREDENTIALS TO HON. OKELLO ORYEM
Hon. Okello Oryem, Minister of Foreign Affairs (International Affairs), this morning officially received copies of letters of Credence from the new Ambassador Designate of the Republic of Senegal to Uganda, H.E Ndongo Dieng at the Ministry Headquarters.
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has welcomed H.E Dr. Syed Ebrahim Raisi the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Uganda with assurance to him of Uganda’s readiness to continue the cooperation and the good relations that have existed since the Islamic revolution.
“We are always ready to cooperate with Iran and this area of cooperation is straight,” President Museveni said, adding that the cooperation is due to Iran's Anti-imperialism position, a reason he has visited Iran many times and most of the Presidents of Iran have in the past visited Uganda.

Hon. John Mulimba, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs (Regional Affairs) today morning met with H.E Monzer Selim, Ambassador of the republic of Egypt to Uganda at Ministry headquarters.
They discussed various aspects of bilateral relations between the two Countries.
Both parties recognized and reiterated the long-standing friendly relationship between Uganda and Egypt. They emphasized the importance of strengthening and deepening these ties for the mutual benefit of their Nations.

In the bid to position Uganda as a preferred tourism destination, the Uganda Tourism Board and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) will jointly promote the destination under the flagship Explore Uganda brand through the High Commissions and Embassies around the world as part of the government’s efforts to create awareness of the destination’s tourism potential.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will also ensure that the Foreign Service Officers are exposed to more tourism attractions; adventure, faith, film and lifestyle tourism to attract travellers in to Uganda as part of their services.
